About Therapy & The Process
Virtual therapy offers the same professional, confidential support as in-person sessions, but from the comfort of your own private space. We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform to connect. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a private place to talk.
Yes. When comparing online therapy effectiveness, multiple telehealth therapy studies confirm that virtual sessions — including EMDR, CBT, and trauma-focused counseling — produce virtual therapy outcomes equivalent to in-person sessions. For clients in Texas and Florida, virtual therapy offers professional mental health care without commute, waiting rooms, or scheduling barriers.
EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy for PTSD and trauma. It uses bilateral stimulation — typically guided eye movements — to help the brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer feel overwhelming. EMDR is endorsed by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as a frontline PTSD treatment. Virtual EMDR is available via secure video session.
Yes, we offer therapy in Spanish. Yenit is fully fluent in both English and Spanish and provides complete therapeutic services in either language. If you are seeking a therapist habla español, you will find that many clients prefer to switch between both languages during sessions — that is entirely welcome. This inclusive service for bilingual therapy Texas and Florida is available to all adults.
Standard therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. The frequency of sessions will be determined collaboratively based on your individual needs and goals, but typically clients start with weekly sessions.
